- There are concert postcards and flyers concert available for you to mail and post in places you may visit.
- Louise Lee is requesting $20 from each of us to cover costs for the spring.
- Mezzo-soprano Patricia Husse will be our guest vocalist for the April program.
She will sing several pieces on her own, and she will sing with us on the last piece on the program – Haydn's Abendlied zu Gott.
- Heinrich Schütz's Quid commisisti (from the Passions Motetten) will not be on the program.

- Our concert will be Sunday, February 28th at Graham Road United Methodist Church,

The concert will be at 3:00PM.
We should plan to be available from 1:00PM for rehearsing beforehand, and we should be done by 5:00PM.
(Pastor Mike's wife Marable is the pastor there.)
- We may have a dress rehearsal Saturday afternoon, February 27th, location to be determined (either Arlington Forest UMC or Graham Road UMC).

- "Pastor Mike" Southall-Vess came by at the beginning of our rehearsal to let us know abut the United Methodist Church's relief programs
for the earthquakes in Haiti.
Through January 29th Arlington Forest UMC is accepting toiletries and personal-hygiene supplies to make
Health Kits for the survivors.
And 100% of cash donations to UMCOR – the United Methodist Committee on Relief –
will go to Haitian relief (no admin costs).
Louise Lee added the sad news that the Director of UMCOR happened to already be in Haiti
and he was killed in the earthquake.
Five members of a group of mission and relief specialists in Haiti to discuss efforts to improve medical services were
trapped in the rubble
of the Hotel Montana in Port-au-Prince for over 55 hours.
The Reverend Sam Dixon, UMCOR's top executive,
died before he was rescued.
The Reverend Clint Rabb,
head of the Volunteers in Mission office, was evacuated but later died of his injuries.

We will probably not rehearse the week in between (December 23), but that isn't decided yet.
